QVC.......You Owe Me!

[ Edited ]

WOW! I really think that QVC needs to give me a piece of the profits. On the first leg/flight of my current trip to Japan, while still in the U.S., I sat next to a lady who was admiring my bag under the seat in front of me. While we were waiting for people to board the plane, she asked about it and I said it was Lug (Ace). Where did I get it? QVC. Oh, yes, she had heard of that shopping channel, but they just sell clothes, and she has her favorites, thank you very much. When I continued to show her the various compartments, she went online to purchase it, just like that! 🤣

I continued to tell her more about the bag, even after the sale had been made. Her eyes got bigger and bigger.........padded compartment for cell phone or glasses? Insulated pocket for treats? Easy clean bottom with feet? She kept being amazed. She initially just liked the size and look.

Then I pulled out the new crossbody, Flapper, and inside that the Tandem. And I got down the Lug Wheelie from the overhead bin. She kept shaking her head. So funny to watch her. She said how organized she is and that this brand would be perfect for her.

Then we chatted about traveling clothes and she wanted to know where I got what I was wearing. QVC! Ha! Told her the three pieces I had on were Cuddl Duds, the shoes were Sketchers Go Walk, the socks were Muk Luks, and just in case she was curious....the underwear was Breezies! She asked, QVC? Yes. 😂

She started to laugh and asked if there could possibly be anything else on me from QVC and I proceeded to tell her more. I said my hair had been washed with WEN, my skin care was Perricone, and my small amount of makeup on was Bare Minerals. My suitcase has clothes from Quacker Factory, Joan Rivers, Denim and Company, Martha Stewart, Isaak Mizhari, etc. I kept letting her ask the question, as I figured at some point she would drop the subject. But no, she didn’t.

Then I had a little bit of fun with her. Told her about my Pop electric toothbrush, Clarisonic, Garmin tracker, Julep Nail Polish, SmileActives, offered her Germack mix from my Lock N Lock, all the while she is amazed at what QVC sells.

As the plane took off she asked what else they have....well, everything! She was surprised to hear I got a ladder from them, a birdbath/feeder, water hoses, plants, and the list went on and on. I told her about the Martha Stewart food I had purchased, Corey’s BBQ ribs, Frankie Avalon tiramisu (haven’t seen that in a while), the MS pressure washer, iRobot Braava and Roomba, Air Innovations humidifier, etc.

And yes, she asked WHY I purchased things online and specifically why I shopped with QVC. I mentioned my busy life, how I hate to try to find parking space at malls and go from store to store, how some things like the ladder would not fit in my car, and the overall ease of click, click, click, you pay, and it is delivered right to your front door! It frees up my time immensely.

Oh, yes, and then there is the 30-day return policy on EVERTHING and some things have 60-day up to six months for the return policy, and then there is the easy pay.....yada, yada, yada! Did her favorite places do that? 😇

So, like I said......QVC, you owe me. I think you should put me on the payroll as a traveling ambassador, all expenses paid, of course! ❤️

I get compliments all the time and had a patient get online on her phone ☎️ and order the Dooney Tuscana Satchel.  If qvc paid everybody that got orders and compliments they’d go broke.

Great post, @World Traveler

Next time don't forget to mention that QVC doesn't sell your name to any other mailing lists.  I love that about QVC.
