I know this has already been discussed but I thought I would share my experience. I received a call from QVC CS today. I recognized the number immediately. The woman explained that QVC was asking long-time customers to participate in a survey.

Well, she started asking questions about CS standards, watching vs shopping online, purchases, prices, quality, etc. Listed below are the major points I made:

1. I don't watch the Q much anymore because of the crazy antics of the hosts. No product info given, talking over each other, talking about families and personal stuff. I said it was like watching kids at the playground.

2. I said that QVC should change their name because Quality, and Value no longer applied.

3. High prices for basic clothing, t-shirts, shorts, polyester (yes, I mentioned SG), and things that I can purchase elsewhere for less. I told her I occasionally purchased Lunchtime Specials and that was it.

4. Same old, boring stuff sold day after day just from different vendors. (I mentioned the 50-50 Tours they used to do, and how I loved those new products).

5. Same or similar expensive TSVs in rotation.

6. Carolyn being let go. I said she WAS D&Co and how much I enjoyed her shows. She mentioned that she had been getting the same feedback from many, many people.

7. Am purchasing more from HSN due to more free shipping and lower prices.

I could tell she was taking notes because she kept asking me to repeat things I said.

Anyone else receive one of these calls lately? I would love to hear about your responses. Thanks!

Me too @jackiejenny.

We had a nice conversation. I forgot to mention that I told her I was expressing how many on the QVC Forum (not the Facebook board) felt the same way, which is where I got a lot of my info from.

I didn't forget you guys!

@sugar plum

You hit on the critical issues we discuss here.  You did a great job.

Will this survey do any good?  None did in the past.

@sugar plum   You did a great job in pointing out problem areas with the Q. I am impressed.

I have almost stopped watching mainly because I can't take the antics of the hosts...just too much for me.

I feel like those surveys are done by the directive of mgmt.  Nothing ever comes of them.

I don't care about the hosts one way or the other.

Just wish they would get the merchandise out faster.

5 days for 'preparing your order' is a ****.

HSN does the spendable cash thing too, and QVC very seldom.

Lunch time specials suppose to start at 11 Eastern

10 my time, but, they are always 5-8 min. late.

TSV's they start at 11 my time and their on time.
