I placed an order for 4 items, two make up items and two apparel items, on March 5th.  It's still showing "in process" on my account.  On the other hand, I placed a beauty order with another company on March 6th.  Received an email from them on March 7th my order has been shipped and another email today with tracking inforomation and should be receiving it tomorrow.  Wow!

The QVC area (Philly) has been experiencing severe weather with huge amounts of snow.  I doubt any shipments will be coming or going from there for awhile.

Re: QVC SHIPPING

[ Edited ]

This shipping problem and INABILITY TO CANCEL an order has been going on way before the weather situation

Do you watch tv much?  Half the country has been rocked by two serious Nor'easters within a matter of days.

@ScrapHappy This has been an ongoing problem since their last software upgrade. They don’t seem to care enough to do anything about it. I get tired of waiting and call and have the rep cancel my order because it won’t allow me to do it. They’re losing a lot of business but don’t seem to care.

Today is only the 8th.

If you have shopped a lot with QVC you know this is the norm for them.

Do other sites ship MUCH faster?  Absolutely.  But sadly, QVC is NOT other sites.

Ordering on the 5th and still in process on the 8th is NOT unusual.

We have all learned if we are in a hurry, shop elsewhere.

If there is a chance you may change your mind on a purchase, do NOT order it in the first place.  QVC may not let you cancel...even 20 mins. after you just place the order!

That is the way they are!

The good thing is that I get all my packages much faster even with the processing delays than I did QVC  back in the "perfect" days of QVC when at the same address I am now, it took 2 to 3 times as long as it does today.

I do think the most important date to check is always the EDD because if that isn't good for you, you might well be disappointed.  I rarely need what I order at any specific time, but if I do and the EDD is later, I buy something else locally.

I also never expect QVC or any other companies to match Amazon which starts with something close to 8 MILLION dollars (maybe more) a year before they sell a single thing.  Prime only makes us think shipping is free!
