Re: QVC Lancaster Outlet Final Months

@FancyPhillyshopper  Hubs and I used to visit that outlet usually twice a year. We just loved the whole vibe of Lancaster. The cows, the Amish and their buggy's on the main roads, Amish restaurants, farm fresh produce that we bought tons of to take home. Jars of chow chow for my dad. Always such a bucolic trip. The outlets were a draw too.

Is the Steamboat hotel still there on the corner? Nice place to stay and they had an indoor pool. Swans in the lake on the side. Just beautiful with benches to watch them floating around.

Bought a lot of gold jewelry at Rockvale. Frazer was good too. There was a great bakery in the stripmall in Frazer. We always looked forward to a sweet treat there. Good coffee too. It was part of our routine. lol

There used to be a Q outlet in Prices Corner, Delaware. Really great on Birkenstock and handbags. That has been closed down too.

It's sad to me that they are building apartments. Who is going to rent them?? I'm sure the rent will be very high. And where will people who rent them find jobs? The outlets employed 100's.

Re: QVC Lancaster Outlet Final Months

@Kachina624  That's sad that the Lancaster outlet was a pigpen. It used to be one of the best kept stores when I used to go there.

Prices Corner was pretty much a pigpen all the time. Loads of VPH. Sometimes you had to dig around but that was the fun of it.Woman LOL
