Exactly! Items are being shown during encore programs which may have been in the warehouse.
Therefore, I contend that there is no relationship.

Yes, but availability on items being sold on-air has presumably been verified post-fire by QVC. Items that were scheduled for live broadcasts may now be unavailable, hence the switch to pre-recorded just to fill air time. It's probably a short term thing while they sort things out.

@Caaareful Shopper They had a full line up of live shows scheduled for Saturday on Q2. Mary talked about her show planned for Saturday, I believe on Friday. Sometime in the early morning hours, the whole schedule was canceled. Coincidence? I think not.

It would be nice when there is a situation in doubt if QVC would come on this site and say what exactly the correct answer is. With all the assumptions being made here it could go on forever and you still wouldn't know what the real reason is.

I've not seen it announced anywhere that it's related to the fire. If it has been, then I'm wrong. If it hasn't then it's only speculation. Not fact.

Common sense tells me that they are trying to determine what shows they can run that have products that are still available.
If it was your business and a portion of your products for sale burned, you'd first need to know every vendor, every product, every item that burned.
Then you'd need to know if those products are available at another warehouse.
Then you'd need to know how much inventory is available at the other warehouse. Is there enough to put it on tv and sell it?
It certainly may be a while before 2 goes live again.
WIll they rebuild the warehouse in the same location?
WIll they locate it elsewhere?
Then it will be a matter of getting in new inventory with the current problems in delvery from shipping ports around the country.
I cannot even imagine how complex this problem must be. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of what they are having to work out. But certainly it makes common sense to me to take the additional sale venue (Q2) to rerun status of items that they still have in stock at another warehouse. Imagine trying to figure out what those are! And imagine that a program might have SOME items that are available and some that ARE NOT available! Holy smokes. This must be a logistical nightmare.
