Why does QVC push so hard for shoppers to get their app? I'm guessing they believe it will help with their impulse buyers but it seems they're really pushing it. I've gotten two surveys in the past month wanting to know if I use it and it seems the hosts always push it, along with notifications on the home page. I seldom buy from my phone, going to the website to read all I can about a product; my old eyes won't allow me to do all this on my little phone screen. Guess it's age related, like everything else?

I've tried both those apps and truth be told--they are terrible and hard to navigate on my phone! So I order off my PC.

I'm not a fan of most apps. When it comes to retail I think you can more easily find what you want, in more detail, with larger visuals, through a full website.

only time I use HSN's app is when they have a 20% off coupon for buying through their app. That usually means I find what I want online first, then purchase through the app.

I love the app and I normally don't like or use them.  I find it easy to navigate and less pop-ups.  I enjoy the streaming so it's nice to easily find that.  It saves my searches for easy reference and orders are easy to track.

The forums are the only reason I use the website.

I am glad they offer both so whatever a person likes they can use!

Although I rarely make a purchase in the QVC app because I like to check out the finer details of new items on a larger screen, I do like having it on my tablet to browse/shop while watching TV—and the app still lists the shipping costs for each item, which is helpful to more quickly determine if an item is worth any further investigation.

I never shop on my phone, period.  No other reason to have the app.  Since I don't watch HSN or QVC away from home, there 's just not need for it, not even to look at products.

I don't use it or want it. One time when I was signing on to TopCashback, a message popped up saying purchases from the app are not eligible for the rebates. Maybe that's a plus for HSN/QVC. They don't have to pay the percentages to the rebate sites if we use the apps.

  • I have the apps on my phone & 8" & 10" tablets. You can enlarge items if they're too small. I find it simpler to use. The website is overwhelming to me with too much writing everywhere & I rarely look at it  I love the apps!.

I love the App; I make about 90% of my purchases via the App, for both QVC and HSN.  Sometimes HSN has App-only promo codes for purchases.  QVC has App-only items available.

It's so easy and much more convenient to use.  I get the same information on item descriptions, reviews, order status, tracking, and videos that the online site has.  The App is just much easier and faster to use.

I cannot tell you how many times the online site gets a hiccup and won't follow through on placing my order.  QVC's online system is sometimes so unreliable, it gets very frustrating.

I also use Apps to pay most of my bills.

I'm going on a cruise later in the year; I'm using an App to follow all the required balance payments, passenger check-in, countdown days, excursions, etc.

My doctor's medical group has an App.  I use it for making & cancelling appointments, paying co-pays, check-in, requests for calls or referrals, etc.

I don't know any business that I am associated with that doesn't have an App.

I have the app on my iPad and phone and like to look on my iPad best. . The phone screen is too small for me to see clearly. If I want to see this forum I just go to qvc.com.on my iPad or laptop.
