I'm not saying I don't use Amazon--I have been a prime member for many years and use all the benefits.   I was just trying to point out to the OP that to get free shipping on every Amazon order, one would need to pay for a Prime subscription.

Amazon Prime IS $139 a year. I know as I was recently billed for it.

Get Prime and watch Prime TV and not QVC! Also get better prices and fast and free shipping on just about anything under the sun. Problems solved. For me, QVC was just a habit. It became unenjoyable in many ways. Don’t really miss it. Made too many impulse buys, much of which was donated. Don’t be afraid to try something new. The old QVC is gone and isn’t coming back.

I'm betting you make impulse buys with Amazon, too, @tynabean. I dropped it. I save items until I get free shipping.

To get free shipping on every order, all one has to do is spend $35 which is what I do.  Don't have prime & just make sure my orders total $35+.  They also offer me a free ship day the next day after i place an order.  Don't need prime at all.

Returns are so easy for us. And UPS is right down the street. We have our return slip on the computer by the time we are home from UPS. Hubbs buys many car parts from Amazon.
