Noticed today you can get 20% off by ordering on the app only.  Why?  I'm hesitant to add the app, not sure why.  Other than receiving the savings, why should I add this?  Can I delete it after my purchase?

It is to every company's advantage to have as many people using their app as possible.  It's an easy way to offer promotions as well as understanding who is buying what.

I have many, many retail and restaurant apps, mostly downloaded for the same reason-- a special sale or promo .  There is nothing nefarious about them, so I'm not sure why you're hesitant.  You can delete after you use it, but it will have the same info you have stored here.

I have a few apps, but try to steer clear of them.  Apps consume a lot of storage on my phone.

I've deleted most of them, but I use a few.  They take up a lot of storage on my iPhone.  Don't like paying more for a phone upgrade because of too many apps.

Go to Settings, General, iPhone storage to see how much space they use.  Unbelievable, imo.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I did not notice and I was deciding on a pair of pants to order.  I don't use the APP  to purchase.

I love the app. Its all I use on my phone & tablets. To me, its cleaner, less cluttered, simplified. You can do just about anything on the app you can on the website.

Yes you can load & delete it after & but why not give it a try.

Do you not have any apps downloaded anywhere?  They're easy to use.

I use the QVC app for almost all of my purchases.

It's quick, smooth, uncluttered and extremely easy to navigate.

Like today's 20% off, there are often various app-only deals.

@AZfem  I do not have any apps anywhere.  I'm sure they are easy to use, just don't see the point.  I'm one who spends very little time on my phone/ipad.

@Biftu

I look at the app a lot, check items on air, check program guide, monitor my shipments. If I don't have the tv on I'll check what's on the app.  Its one stroke press app & your on. Don't have to type QVC dot com all the time (or maybe you have site bookmarked?).

When you want to delete it, just press app & hold & it will ask if you want to uninstall. Say yes & poof its gone.

If you shop or eat or use a business regularly, its convenient. If you don't shop regularly may not be necessary.

I love the QVC app. It's the only way I shop with them. I also agree it is less cluttered than the website.

@Biftu  Agree 100%.  I don't have a "smart" phone so no "apps" for me.  At 76 I've made it this far without them--LOL!!
