Problems with changing email address

Six weeks ago I changed my email address for both my QVC and HSN accounts.  But I was still receiving emails from both companies to the old email.  Called customer service at QVC and HSN and the reps went through the process of deleting my old email and setting up a link with my new email.  Two weeks later, I am still getting emails from both companies.  Called again and the QVC rep put through a request to the tech department to delete my old email.  So did the HSN rep.  I am no longer getting emails to the old address from HSN, but QVC hasn't yet fixed the problem.  Any one else have this issue?  I am getting emails to my new email.  If I click on "unsubscribe" on the email received at the old address, it takes me to my account which lists my new email address.

Re: Problems with changing email address

@catmama   Yikes, I'm sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time getting this straightened out.  Around 2014, I moved, changed landline telephone number and emails etc.  I had a hard time getting my QVC stuff straightened out to go to the new addresses.  In fact, the CS rep found it easier in my case just to establish me a brand new account, complete with new account number with my new information.  At the time, I had no easy pays or orders pending, but I still couldn't understand why I couldn't just keep my old account number rather than start from scratch.

Re: Problems with changing email address

Same here, we moved this past summer and I changed my address and phone number with all my accounts, including QVC.

I ordered something from QVC about 2 months later, and they mailed it to my old address. LOL!

I called and straightened it out.

Luckily I have not had to do this, but it doesn't seem like it should be so haaaard to do!

Somewhere deep in your preferences are the ways you wish to be contacted.  Might check there.

Can also go into the "old" email account and block a site.  It will not affect the "new" email account since they gave different logins.  I have done this.

Re: Problems with changing email address

@catmama - Just to check: Have you placed any orders with QVC since your email change? If so, did you receive a confirmation at your new email address? That would be a good indicator that your preferences and alerts are set up as requested.

If you're still getting promo or marketing email at your old address, that is probably due to the way marketing systems and/or campaigns are set up; some of them may still have your old email address on file as part of a targeted list, but within the next 7-10 days, it should drop as new cycles start processing. You may have noticed language indicating the need for a waiting period like this if you've ever unsubscribed from an email list. Hope everything works out!

@loriqvc - Haven't ordered anything since I changed.  I did read the 7 to 10 day period for the change to take place but since it's been 6 weeks, there is something wrong.
