@jlkz ...Thanks for suggestions.  I live in the Northeast and Macys is our main large more upscale retailer although alot have closed along with JC Penney, Lord and Taylor among others.  I will check out our consignment stores.  Thanks!

The only way prices go down is if people aren't buying at said given price. I'm sure most of us have enough if we just want what we have instead of wanting to have more and more.

@lablove1

Try shopping Lunchtime or Primetime specials.  I have gotten some GREAT bargains with nice reductions in price.  I have purchased almost everything including LOGO on the daily specials.

I have no complaints about the pricing.  I also put things in my Wish List like the other poster said.  Many times, the price goes down.

I have found that JCP and many times Macy's sells VERY poor quality items.  Don't want them at any price....buying cheap does not make it a good deal necessarily.

Lord and Taylor has beautiful things but is not priced cheaply.  I would never purchase used clothing...but that is just me.  Too many years of getting my sister's hand-me-downs!  LOL

For me, it seems like they want all HIGH fashion vendors, or whoever Oprah loves, that they forget what most customers want and can afford. I'm not saying to bring in cheap merchandise, but some of these new ones are getting ridiculous, like the new vendor Bos & Co shoes. I usually only buy when they have 5 or more flex pay. SK with her expensive brands that she can afford but those of who can't. They just need to bring in a good variety, pricing wise.
