Prices are increasing everywhere. This is to be expected.

Well, Evine takes it to a new level. They will have an "Evine" price that is way high already. Then, when they are having the vendor visit, they raise the price even higher, then mark it down for the show and say "it's 51% off"!

Several months ago at least 70% of ORIGINAL prices did GO UP permanently by a few dollars, some $1.
Pure greed is going to be our downfall!

Department Stores usually have good sales from Friday through weekends. At Macy's I have purchased $49.50 tops for around $10.00 online. As someone posted, that is how retail works. Since QVC doesn't have "sales" as such except for OTO and a few others, maybe the increases are more noticeable.

It's a vicious circle called INFLATION

@kitty_nina That is because the original price is what QVC is selling the item for when first presented. They clearly state that the original price (original meaning first price) will go away and revert to the QVC price at a future point. The price posted during the program lists the price on that day and also lists the higher QVC price that will come later. They also tell you when it is the last day being presented at the original price. So we are actually getting a price break at the original price vs the QVC price. Confusing I know, but I'm glad we have a chance to purchase at what they refer to as the original price rather than the QVC price.

I just wish they would stop raising the prices on their clearance items.

In Retail Pricing fluctuates all the time. When YOU make your purchase it has to be at a price YOU are willing to pay. The next day the price could be lower - its a gamble.
As you stated the item is in your Wish List so its something you are interested in but for some reason have not purchased. Your item could also be experiencing the same price fluctuations elsewhere. I bet if you tried the same thing at another online retailer by putting an item in your wish list, you would see the same price jumps over a 2 month period.

On Amazon, products I buy frequently often go way up in price. They must have a program that tracks frequent purchases. If I stop ordering the cost usually drops back down.
