I added an item to my wish list about 2 months ago. When I added, it was $69. then increased to $71. then back down to $69. It has now increased to $81. This much fluctuation is ridiculous! I'll look else where!!

It seems like Q has raised the price on everything. 1st probably Holiday Season, 2nd China tariffs, 3rd that big tax break , 4th pure greed.

Amazon is famous for fluctuating prices like that, maybe QVC is trying that too.

I guess I never noticed on Amazon. Most of my Amazon purchases are not too expensive.

Tons of places do this. As someone mentioned, Amazon. But go into any department store and youre going to see the same thing. One day something isn't on sale, the nect day it is 40% off but in a cuple weeks it's 50% off then back to full price. They're not trying to pull anything over on anyone. It's how retail works.

I wish QVC would try to copy other things Amazon is famous for besides fluctuating the prices.

It IS how retail works. For example, we like Frango chocolates from Macy's. Regular price $22 but it has been as low as $7.99 then $12.99 goes back to $22 then $15.99. Bottom line, when the price gets to what you want to pay, buy it!

That's true. Prices do fluctuate everywhere from original price to sale price then to another sale price, which may be higher or lower than the first sale price, then back to the original, and finally to clearance. Sometimes things are taken off clearance and moved to sale. But I haven't seen ORIGINAL prices increase anywhere. Most sites are fair in listing the original price and it never goes up. With QVC I've seen increases in original prices, many times.
I don't think tariffs have anything to do with this. Just greed.

Prices fluctuate everywhere and as a consumer I have no idea how to control that, so I control me. I do keep a private list of things I intend to buy when I have the money to pay for them - and then I go looking for a price. A wish list with prices would just drive me crazy as I'd beat myself up for not buying at a different time.
