I agree.  I don't like it either.  I much prefer "live" programming.  On the bright side, I'm probably saving money because it's like watching a rerun.

I I believe QVC tried to grow too large too fast. All the channels are silly if they are mainly repeats of other shows. They have hired a number of new hosts, which doesn’t seem necessary if they have dipped a good six hours of live programming. This was a great training ground for new hosts. I shop a LOT at night, when the house is quiet, the phone is quiet, no interruptions, just me and the Q. I honestly don’t watch any other shopping channels, I figured one was a bad enough addiction. What the Q is doing is to shove me off to another shopping channel at night. They will be losing $$ because the other channel I have watched a couple of times is not HSN. I’ll also no longer be recording shows like I always have, especially if it is the TSV. I don’t want to spend my mornings deleting recordings repeated over and over. The powers that be need to look at things from a buyer’s/viewer’s perspective. Chronic changes to their online site, switching up programming, etc., are not always positive. Yes, they must be concerned with the bottom line, but that bottom line is solely dependent upon we, the viewers/buyers. Do they ever survey their customers?

they have three channels. one shows reruns all the time. the other two show them part of the time. it is ridiculous. i hate it. if they're trying to save money than drop one or two of the channels. and go back to what made the q great... live broadcasting 24/7.

I totaly agree with the comments made about looping.  It is very disappointing.  I am always up in the middle of the night and love to watch live broadcasting on QVC and now it is just boring.  What happened???  I wish they would give an explanation to their loyal customers.

I totally agree.  I HATE the TSV loop for 5 hours.  On the West coast the loop begins at 11:00 pm. That is not the middle of the night.  For many who work late, get home late, have a late dinner, 11:00 is the shank of the evening.  Not to mention people who work late shifts and are just getting home. BIG. BIG, BIG mistake QVC.  I used to watch QVC (and order by the way) during the early hours because that is when I am often awake.  A lot of the world are nightowls and/or have insomnia so this is when we watch .... and buy. With this new loop for 5 hours, my TV channel gets changed at 11::00. pm and stays changed. Being live 24/7 is what set QVC apart from all the  other shopping channels. So sad it is becoming just the same as the others.

Totally agree.  I am watching less and less the last couple of months.  TSVs for an hour - every other hour is way overkill.  An now with the 5 hour TSV repeat loop beginning at 11:00 pm on the West Coast just seals the deal. QVC is going the way of all the other shopping channels.  Too bad. Enjoying less and less and less. No happy dance here.

Ditto. I'm up late and watch late.  Oh yes, and I buy late. On the West Coast the loop begins at 11:00 pm. Seriously??? Do the execs think no one watches after 11:00. If I am not particulary interest in the TSV for that day, I sure as heck am not going to watch 5 hours of the same presentation. I'm changing the channel and it is staying changed. If I'm not watching I am sure not buying either.  A REALLY BAD DECISION .

How about 1 premier QVC shopping channel on 24/7 instead of 3 channels which are mostly prerecorded wiith the main channel now having a 5 hour TSV loop??? I think QVC has spread itself way too thin with so many channels and now are paying the price. On the West Coast there is plenty to watch at 11:00 pm so that is what I am doing now.  The channel is being changed and staying changed.  Too bad.  I used to watch (as well as buy) into the wee hours. A lot of people work later shifts and are getting home and ready to watch just when the TSV loop starts. I imagine tried to expand too fast so now here we are. 3+ channels of previously recorded. I am really feeling finished with QVC after watching for 25 years.

I'm not sure what QVC is doing.  If it is for business reasons, I can get behind that but running the TSV for 5-7 hours from 12m-7am ET is ridiculous.  I don't watch it as much in the middle of the night anymore because the hosts that they've recently hired are immature, giddy and just too much too take when I'm tired (or anytime for that matter).  Sorry, but I"m not sure where QVC is going with that approach.  THe vast majority of products are targeted toward mature women but they hire these "gals" to sell it to us.  Hopefully, this is overnight issue is temporary and if they want to re-run shows, that's fine but mix it up.  I don't watch QVC2 often because of the BIg Deal repeats but at least they mix it up.  I'm moving away from QVC anyway.  I can find most products either cheaper or the same price without the shipping.  Now that Amazon offers free return shipping through other locations without even having to package it up, that sounds much more reasonable to me.   I've spent a fortune in to and from shipping with QVC.  I'm over it.

I have to wonder if part of it is being short on overnight hosts. I was watching last Wednesday and they had Rick presenting fashion with Dennis Basso with a new hire shadowing him for her first time on the air. I can understand doing maybe one 'previously recorded' run of the TSV at 2 a.m., but running it over and over until morning is silly.
