If I had a nickel for every pop up and "unlock 30 off 60" I try to get rid of I could afford Affinity diamonds.

Plus, signing in 15 times a day. I delete cookies constantly and when U do you have to sign in yet again at QVC.   They won't remember you like some places will.

Yes, they go way overboard with the pop ups! If you delete a pop up, their shouldn't be the exact on popping up a minute later.

Better learn to love pop-ups as they're part of the cyber age and likely won't be going anywhere soon.  They're apparently effective.

Since cookies are what allows a site to remember you, deleting them stops that from happening.  That's why you have to sign in again.  I may be missing something, but why delete them?

@retiredrose Several posters have been "just saying" this. Unfortunately, studies have proven it is effective. Until it is not profitable, online businesses will continue. We just have to adapt and do a quick click to get rid of it or use pop-up blockers if it truly annoys you.

I delete history and cookies because I'm afraid when I check my bank and other banking institutions I don't want 'cookies' to know where I've been and encourage them to try to hack accounts.

I delete all that before checking and after I leave the money sites.

Completely understand, but that's probably why you have to log in so much.  But, better safe than sorry!

Some places still will remember you like my insurance place it pops up with my user name and password.

easy peasy, but, not QVC. They make U work for it. LOL

don't want to fool with those pop up blockers. When you add something to your computer usually messes up something else. Have to update the program, etc.
