And it's not as though she's the only game in town. There are plenty of other Argan Oils out there (for less $$).

I can glance up if I feel like seeing what's on, but I'm saved from the constant banter!!!!

I should have turned the volume off and just read my CC, too. Smiley Happy I have it set up so if someone mumbles we don't have to rewind to determine what was said. It would be nice if we didn't feel we had to, some hosts are not bad. Seems like the ones that are get prime show spots-don't the PTB watch them? Ha

of some sort....trying to grab viewers' attention, to give some credibiity to the vendor and to get viewers to spend money!!  I also get tired of hearing the incessant stories.

Think about it... the Jeanne Bice story (she could not to find jeans for her body); the Susan Graver story (she started out in polka dots and trouser items); the Wen story (had to invent new formula for shampoo); the LOGO story (the stylist for stars and magazine shoots) etc, etc, etc.

@corita You're right about the story thing.  I remember reading on the forum (and I agree) where people were talking about how all of these competitions and game shows seem to have people competiting who have some kind of sad story behind them.

Good grief!  Who hasn't had some 'stuff' in their lives?  What does that have to do with competing on "So You Think You Can Dance" or how about "America's Got Talent" and so on....there's always something a bit boo hoo to them.

There's only one thing for me to do when Amy is the host . . . change the channel!  I find her rude with every vendor she's with.  She interrupts, as if to prove to them she's in charge.  I wouldn't take Amy's advice on anything!  She would sell more if she let the vendors speak!  I don't find her cute, or bubbly, only offensive!  The Q has several new hosts that are far more professional than Amy.  I wish they would move Amy to the over nights, and move the newer hosts to hours Amy is working now.

I thought the same thing with Sandra last night. I cringe when they pick Sandra to launch the TSV & it was something I might have been interested in watching right away. Sandra constantly interrupts and if a vendor tires to get in a word, Sandra speeds up as if she's rushing to get in her spiel before the vendor can get their turn, then the vendor is cut off before they're finished. argh

@StraytoStay- I don't know what happened to Sandra....when paired with SG, it's unbearable and I'm pretty tolerant

hmm you are right about the backstory for each of them. I never heard of lori goldstein until she started selling items on Q but then again, I'm not a big follower of that sort of thing - although I had heard of Rachel Zoe before her line came on.
