Webbie has been busy lately poofing posts & adding comments closed. Seems they all were either about Alberti or Albany. I posted nothing but good things about Alberti, yet almost all the posts are closed to comments now. Of all the posts on here bashing Susan Graver, & those were allowed to stay, then post something positive...POOF they go. I don't get QVC lately???

All I saw on the Alberta thread were positive comments, the Albany thread was not good.
Maybe the moderators are not allowing discussion about any show host anymore because it is so easy to go sour since not everyone agrees.

Apparently, Alberti is a protected class.

It's called "control", unfair as it is.

They are getting very odd indeed, must be everybody thinks it's a free for all while managment is in flux! Kicking off their shoes and running the farm.

There is definitely a protected class on the forums. S.K., L.R. David and Courtney are allowed no discussion what so ever if one negative word comes up. I appears that Alberti has been added to that class.
Jane, Jill, Mary Beth and Antonella are all allowed to be trashed for some reason.

In the years that I've been posting here, I've always noticed that people who like to criticize a particular host always believe that THAT host is somehow protected by TPTB and that the host(s) that poster enjoys and likes to watch is free from such protection and therefore gets bashed with impunity.

I was trying to say that some are protected and some are not. I really don't care if the hosts I like are bashed. I may come in and say what I like but I respect other opinions. When I "bash" the ones I do not like I expect the same respect.
Thank You for you comment because there are those on the forum that Bash everyone and nothing we say or do will stop them.

I cannot believe you're serious??
The "protected" host's that you mention, are, invariably, the topic of some of the nastiest posts,I've ever seen, and I've seen threads about them that remain up for days, with posters trying to outdo each other.
I guess the upside to that is, if people are talking about you that much, at least you're not boring!
I'm sure the hosts know that not everyone is going to like them, and, there's nothing wrong with viewers commenting on performance, but, I loose all respect for a company that allows any employee to be publicly trashed and mocked. When really nasty posts are removed, I don't see it so much as an individual being protected, but, QVC protecting their own image.
It's one thing to say that host Jane Doe, is ill prepared, talks much too fast, and often gives incorrect information.
It's another thing to say Host Jane Doe, caused you to change the channel because her new hair cut makes her look insane with her bulging eyes and flapping ears, plus it was nauseating to see her huge butt inski squeezed into leggings, and the way she was flattering the vendor, you suspect she bats for the other team.
