.After another "joyful" week of QVC ..I am still trying to recover from a personal favorite, the Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Show (and yes I actually DO like Hello Kitty--you gotta have something to make you smile, since my sports teams obviously don't--I can't believe my Spurs actually lost to a team from Berlin, Germany---not a way to start the preseason)......Now I know expectations are especially high for the QVC weekend lineup...

While everyone in TV Land is looking forward to Halloween and/or Thanksgiving....

QVC ignores these holidays in favor of their NEVER ENDING Holiday programming---This weekend is devoted to....(drum roll please)


ALL THE GIFTS WEEKEND-HOLIDAY KICKOFF!!!! ....

And these felines are certainly taking advantage by picking up all those holiday gifts----

Some will be bored by it all and think it's WAY TOO EARLY to think about Christmas....---and will skip the programming all together.....


I know many of you will be especially pleased to hear about QVC's featured item.....I have to give them credit, they really put so much "creativity" into the Saturday programming---yes folks it's HP COMPUTERS!!!!---QVC knows you just can't get enough!

And of course, SATURDAY MORNING Q-will feature the one and only HP COMPUTERS!!!! Oh what "fun"!

Oh I know you would be totally "thrilled"......nothing beats a PC demo .....now now no need to throw a hissy fit.....
Then be prepared for a WHOLE HOUR of HP COMPUTERS----hmmm some don't appear to be too interested.....could it be....we are DARN sick and tired of seeing computers on the weekend!

There is a break in the PC action with a return of the one....the only.....QUEEN OF HEARTS---featuring fake gems and diamonds

Some gift shows are so memorable---others not so much....QVC presents COOL TOYS-FEATURING DISNEY's FROZEN----yep you will be SCREAMING at your TV to "LET IT GO" as you hear that BLASTED song over and over again!!!! Or this other popular tune from the movie----


Be ready to stock that gift wing as QVC presents GREAT GIFTS---hmmmmm I wonder if their will be some of those fascinating flashlights and fragrant poo-pourri---one can only hope!

So, it's to be YET another no Q weekend at my house... Oh well, it's now the clear norm... But listen Spurt, just as it's time for our dear, dear Mary to give the selfies a rest, I'm thinking it's time you gave the kitties a rest too... In the way of paying homage to those brilliant minds in corporate and the roster of hosts who are always such a joy to watch, I'm thinking pictures of gerbils on wheels, hamsters in mazes and trained chimps might be a much welcome diversion... You know, just for a week or two...

HP huh... The only brand I'd put below Dell on my personal 'to do' list... No, no and no... Besides, at least when Dell is commandeering the airwaves, one passing through quickly, and I do mean quickly, can at least catch a glimpse of their little cutie of a rep. Not the case with HP, which, of course, means there is utterly no reason to even risk flipping past as one seeks out greener pastures, which surely shouldn't be too hard to find... And after all dear Spurt, the holiday shopping season is once again upon us, as it has been here since, well, July, so we all knew it was only a matter of time before we'd see the Bose blowing out the candle... Awwwwwww the Q, predictable as always... And like always, it's a weekend (not that it much matters anymore) so I won't be there...

Oh, Happy Birthday Jasper, you sweetie!

I won't be watching Q.

I wonder if Q will ever figure out it's easier to keep loyal customers than get new ones all the time. They could do a few things suggested the last couple of years and improve sales from people who have been going elsewhere because they have all the computers, ugly toys, mattresses, Dooneys, heel scrapers, and flashlights they need.

Spurt, you did an outstanding job on this! It gave me a good laugh ... and it must have taken some time and effort to get all those great pics to go along with everything. Good post!

And it starts on Friday! Aren't we lucky? At least they're still going to "allow" Fashionably Early, and Isaac on Friday, along with Shawn's "Accessorize'...and I hope it's not a mistake that they've listed AM Style on Saturday. For the rest of the weekend, my remote will have a permanent "skip it" programmed for QVC!

SPURT: You did it again. I wish QVC programming was even half as entertaining as your posts. I wonder if the new CEO is aware how many viewers are rooting for his/her new ideas for the future. This week, it is impossible to choose a favorite from your gorgeous feline models but I think your Hello Kitty kitty wins by a whisker for me. That is the most huggable face ever.

Another sensational preview for the weekend (at least the preview is sensational if the programming isn't inspiring!). Thank you, Spurt! I especially like the kitty with the tiara - very couture, indeed!

On and speaking which, YET another FABULOUS feature of last night's In the Kitchen... was when Mary and David just HAD to relate to us how many new viewers they'd added... Of course, there's no way of knowing how many of them had simply fallen asleep with the TV on...
