Has the one about the 2 hosts selling bedding been poofed?

Probably, I don't think I read but a few responses. It was pretty ridiculous so I imagine it is gone. 

My question is what determines a post being completely removed, vanished, as opposed to a post "removed" but still up?

@cjm61   I agree.  I don't feel like some of the posts that are gone or locked deserve this.  Must be a VERY FINE LINE one walks when posting in determining this.  And perhaps the individual moderator's personal discretion.  Some I've seen go just don't seem to be controversial at all???

Along the same lines... l was reading a post earlier when l looked at the date on the second or third page and it was FROM APRIL 2015 !!!!

The post was about hosts talking too fast. I noticed the date when someone said that Carolyn and Dan had nice-speaking voices!! I was WHAT ?!?! They aren't on anymore.

That was when I noticed the old date! Someone pretty new with 35 posts commented on it !!! I went to sign in then l couldn't find it !! I was going to tell her she couldn't continue to comment on a post from over 8 years ago!!! 

It must have gone POOF !!! 

Edited to Add: The post I'm talking about is still up on this forum Q-TALK about "Why are hosts talking So Fast?" One new person asked why was that up again instead of addressing the person who brought it up again!! No further comments can be added. I thought I was seeing things for a while!!!

I'm really glad you addressed this issue.  Since I'm fairly new, I try to search to see if a question has been asked before I post a thread about it.  I see though, now sometimes a question may have to be posted about again if a lot of time has passed, circumstances changed, and people are no longer here etc.

It's against forum rules to bring up a very old thread, although I'm not sure it's listed among the community standards.  It will be locked, as you found out.

Best to start a new thread.

The only exception to this is if an old thread has been continuously posted on, which several have been in the various forum categories.
