They feature what sells and the majority of what the public is buying.

I always laugh, when I see these posts, because I'm wearing my Cuddl Duds blazer right now and I'm very grateful QVC offered it as a TSV (I bought 3).

Having said that, I do agree that the programming has become pretty boring and I seldom watch it anymore.  Like others, I miss the days when QVC offered a wide variety of products.  Things you didn't see everywhere else.

I miss the wonderful shows they had, like the Oktoberfest and so much more.  But I guess those days are gone for good.

I watched an interesting report on shopping trends, a couple of months, or so, ago. I want to say it was on CNN or Discovery, but, not positive.

They didn't spend a lot of time, on home shopping,  but, they did mention, that, when home shopping was new and something of a novelty, they drew in viewers, in part, because they offered unique products.

They made the point that "discovering new products, and small interesting vendors", wasn't sustainable, because those vendors, had no way, to supply a reasonable inventory, as the networks, became giants.

They also said that some vendors, particularly, higher end fashion and jewelry lines, had no desire, to work with retail giants, because they feared their brand would be diluted, so they pulled out.

Change is inevitable, I suppose.

And gone are the days when they didn't start all the Christmas overkill in June and air it nonstop till Dec. 25!

@Imaoldhippie ....but if they would feature some of the things they never show on TV maybe they would find a new 'it' product.

I love when the Q tells us this is how we live and dress these days . Or we can wear the top out with jeans . Or to run to the bus stop or to drop off the kids. Enough with the suggestions. Alot of these fabrications are like thin pjs .Not even as thick as a sweatshirt
