QVC lets Jane say whatever she wants and wear whatever she wants.  Instead of wearing the dress that didn't fit, she should have just let the models do their job.

I wish they would just stop changing into everything. @San Antonio Gal  Especially Amy.  It’s ridiculous.

As for Jane, she is clever. She constantly mentions the girls knowing people will flood their social media. She also idealizes them. It doesn’t seem based in reality, but that’s her issue to figure out.

@manny2 I'm sure Jane doesn't decide what she will wear, and Jane doesn't decide what to talk about.  QVC has very precise statics about what people listen to and what makes them buy and what sells and why.

None of this is non-scripted in the overall concept.  Hosts are not just blabbing off the tops of their heads.

What makes you think it is scripted? @Sooner  There is no way they would say the things they say if the show was scripted.

No doubt they have talking points directed by writers. But totally scripted no.

Clearly Jane just inserts her daughters into every conversation, and product.

Many of the hosts said they have a few choices to pick from, so yes they do decide what to wear.

@manny2 OK.  Don't cut anybody any slack.  It's your way at QVC I guess.  No doubt about that now that we know.

@Sooner  I’m guessing you are having a bad day. You gave your opinion, and I gave mine.

Who am I going to cut any slack?

I don’t know any of these people. It doesn’t really matter to me. I am just having a conversation.

  1. Yes they have stylists, to those wondering.  SK has mentioned hers on air several times, and the others have some too.
  2. Knowing this information, partciularly if a garment is a TSV and the outfit looks unfortunate on the host, the stylist is doing the disservice to the vendor by allowing someone to wear the item anyways, that is their specific job and not the host's choice.  Also the stylist must put them in the correct size, every time. Vanity should go out the window if you are trying to promote the fit of a garment.
  3. I am tired of the costume changes too, this is not Cher on tour. Enough. They did not do this when I started watching about 10-12 yrs ago.  And not everyone wore the clothing TSV either. We know everything will look amazing on Amy, SK will probably be "very fitted" to put it politely, and so on.
  4. Clearly hosts are not needed (as proven on Q2 during the first year of Covid) so why keep running off camera to throw something on and leave the vendor to talk up the item?
  5. And lest we forget, we are accepting applicants for even more hosts as prices continue to increase and the current crew just spew the same old schtick "taking this on my vacation", "my girls" (adult women btw), "I own these", "If you can swing it buy two!"  Tell me about the product or put someone on (like the vendor alone) who will. That is literally the hosts job and many of them are terrible it.
