Peter Thomas Roth Eye Tightenr and Plexaderm

[ Edited ]

I am curious as to why "no one" ever brought this question up.  Both of these products are fairly good at reducing "Eye Bags", however, with each one of them and possibly because I have very fair skin, there is a demarcation under where the product is put so that it doesn't match up with any of my makeup foundations whether powder or liquid.  No one has ever addressed this question.  Anyone can see that the skin looks different under your eyes between your makeup and the product.  Does anyone else question what can be done about this so they all blend together?  Someone should make these products so that they blend with your makeup.  What do y'all think about this?  Am I the only one that it bothers?  Thanks!

I have thoght about buying the Peter Thomas Roth one but couldn't make up my mind.  I didn't realize it had a tint to it?  As for the Plexaderm, it's clear, isn't it?  Could this stuff be mixed with your makeup, or would it not work this way?

I think any concealer, unless you use one the same shade as your foundation, is noticeable. They do say to go a shade lighter. I see SO many stars or celebs wearing  a noticeable concealer . It brightens the eyes-even the face. But if you don't like the look PTR's first product, before this one, says to try mixing it with your concealer.

My worry is that I've read that the tightening and untightening loosens the skin. Ya can't win. It works to tighten the eyes, but using it is going to loosen your skin in the long run. Yikes.

The original Roth product is clear, the newer formula is tinted, both are still available. I like the one from Westmore which is tinted.

Re: Peter Thomas Roth Eye Tightenr and Plexaderm

I have tried 3--PTR, plexiderm, and westmore---westmore was bad and plexiderm, total garbage. I prefer PTR. I have the clear one now and just ordered the tinted one.-- but there is a learning curve and I have yet to get the whole thing down pat. I have ENORMOUS eye baggage---but the PTR works very well without breaking--the others are wastes of $$. I would need surgery to remove my bags as they are fat pads lurking there. Looked into surgery last year --was $8500 !!!
