Rick just posted this on Facebook:

It was at a Host meeting in early 1995 when we were told the news: QVC was building a new “Remote Studio” that looked like an Orange Bus. We’d be doing live Shows all across the country…in front of a live audience of QVC fans!

Would anyone be interested?? 😀
As a newbie Host burning eggs in a T-fal pan at 4am, I said “Yes, please!”🔥

The QVC “50-in-50” Tour was born.

The “Ambassador Host” was one of the original QVC Hosts who’d been asked to return for the Tour…Paul Kelley. He’d been a Host, a teacher, held a Doctorate in Theatre, and spoke fluent Italian. He was also one of the most gracious, kind souls you’d ever meet.
With Co-Hosts like Kathy Levine, Bob Bowersox, Mary Beth Roe, David Venable QVC, Dan Wheeler, we did Shows together in Idaho, New York, Minnesota, Colorado, North Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin..the list goes on and on.
With a big smile and a booming voice, Paul LOVED meeting QVC Viewers (show me your pins, “Dad, buy this”)!😀❤️ He treated the crew with respect, and he kindly guided nervous entrepreneurs who were making their big TV debut.
Here’s to one of the Good Guys.🍷🍷

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. 🙏 He’ll always be a part of the QVC family. R.I.P. Paul Kelley."

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

So sad to hear this as I remember Paul as a very good host.  Rick describes those early years well when they were all flying by the seats of their pants and learning as things went along.  It made watching interesting and kind of cool to shop for things that weren't available in my area,  Prayers for Paul's family.

When the 50 in 50 tour came to Savannah in the mid 90's, Rick Domeier, Kathy Levine and Paul Kelley were there. Paul was so kind to those of us in the audience.  He posed for a picture with my sister, her best friend and me. Now I am the only one left out of this group. RIP Mr. Kelley. You will be missed.

Oh, so sad to read this!  I loved watching him.  He was so much fun and always had a great laugh. A great loss when he left the Q.

Remember him.  Think he hosted the morning shows with Judy Crowell.  So sad.  R.I.P.
