Paperless Billing Begins January 5

[ Edited ]
an important change to your statement delivery is coming.
On January 5th, your QCard® account will switch to paperless billing. You will receive an email summary each month a payment is due. It will include your balance, minimum payment due, and due date.

Can we still send a check to pay the bill??

I sure hope so!

This is the first I've seen of this.

Do we have a choice on this?  I'm not real excited about this because I don't really trust Synchrony Bank.   They have made too many errors on my account

There is a link in the email they sent you to click on to opt out of getting paperless.  If you don't do anything it will automatically go to paperless.

Everytime I go paperless, I forget to pay my bill and get a late charge.  Thankfully we can opt out.

Thanks OP for bringing this to my attention!

@Pecky

Does the email come from Synchrony itself?  I'm not sure they even have my email address.  I've never set up an online account with them.  Just get paper bills every month.

Yes!  As a previous poster mentioned...

CLICK THE LINK TO OPT OUT.

I already did.

You can decline and still get paper.

Yes it came from Synchrony.  I get paper bills every month also but pay on their website.  I would call them if you didn't get the email.

The email comes out in the middle of December. You can call synchrony Bank yourself and speak to a representative to be sure you get paper statements. For myself, I don't like to pay bills online - I'm old school and prefer to mail a check. They're very nice when you speak with them.

Yes!  I just called myself and once I finally got a real person, she was great.

Only people that have registered their accounts online with Synchrony and get emails regularly from them are the people affected.  And they do have the option to continue getting paper bills.

If you have never registered with Synchrony Bank online (which I never did), you will continue to get paper bills.
