You are so right @on the bay !!! I was always small...under 5'...and up until l was 45, l was 100-110 lbs. My Dad passed that year and l started gaining weight. I guess my metabolism came to a screeching halt and emotional stuff happened. I'm 73 now and have gained quite a bit more. When l look in the mirror l still can't believe it's me!!! The day l felt the absolute worst was a few years ago I ran into a girl and her husband in a store and when she looked at me, after l said a loud hello to her, she gasped and her mouth flew wide open!!! I wanted to die right there! You see, l was always friendly and didn't think about my weight gain or l would have turned my cart around and avoided talking to them. I was mortified the way she reacted and l can still remember it vividly... In all fairness to her she has always known me as 100 lbs so yes she was shocked...but heavier women are looked at differently. ☹️

Three year old thread!

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
