Funny... While I was watching ( surfing back and forth), Lori WOULDNT stop "I love" this and it's so " chic and fabulous", non-stop. I didnt buy anything from the show but bought a D & Co ,cute dolman sleeve top!
Can't deny, Palm Sprimgs is gorgeous!

I think they raised the prices to pay for the clothes.
I couldn't watch long. All the squealing, laughing, shouting was insane.
Both Amy and Lori flopped.
It was like "you can't take the kids anywhere."

I don't think the backyard they filmed in was anything special - just grass and a pool. Is that grass real or fake? I thought California was in drought mode and discouraged grass that needs watering.
I bet the team really enjoyed the warm weather and having a change of scene for a few days.
@DottieBlue wasn't it broadcast from Dinah Shore's home.? I didn't watch show, but I live in California, and know Palm Springs fairly well. Palm Springs is known for the heat. It is desert so can get cool at night. Summers are 110 and up. I have been there when it was 121!, Right now PS is about mid 70's. They do have grass areas for golf and some rec areas. They are watered with reclaimed water. Usually there is a lot of faux lawn, mainly drought scrubs, plants and rocks. Palm springs gets its water from an aquifer ground system. They also get water from the Colorado river. Many rain water tanks and such. Most residential homes are encouraged to use drought resistant landscaping. This is the area for golf courses,it is their business... so they suck the water.

@DottieBlue California is no longer in a drought. We haven't been for a few years. We've been blessed with lots of rain over the last few years. That grass you saw on the location home is more than likely fake. The Desert had restrictions on real grass. The golf courses water their lawns with nonpotable reclaimed water

Location shows don't do a thing for me either. I remember David taking his show to San Franciso several years ago. There were no specialty regional food items or regional guests. It was no different than the studio except cold and wind blowing with guests and small outdoor audience freezing. It was a bust and a waste of money, imo.

I agree, Amy was hyper and over the top. I saw when she made that comment when her mike fell out about it being a child. So dumb, not funny. She can be a bit hyper sometimes anyway but the only time I saw her really go nuts was when she presented John Legend's line and he was a guest on the show. She was fawning over him, giddy, and cackling. I thought it was embarrassing.

What Was the Point of haing it at that Location?
