So many of the B&M stores have extensive web sites and good sales. On top of that, once you order a certain amount you get free shipping. I have gotten some good deals. If one buys basic casual clothing, once you have an LLBean credit card, you get free shipping both ways, regardless of the amount of the purchase. Their clothing is top quality, and they guarantee satisfaction with no time limit. We also do quite a bit of shopping on Amazon. I have also shopped on Etsy and have gotten some home items and gifts there. There are so many choices out there. QVC needs to re-evaluate its prices, "sales" that are not bargains, and high shipping costs. Just my opinion.
QVC is neither Macy's nor Nieman-Marcus -- nor is it Dollar Tree. If you feel QVC's prices are too high, do not shop here. Prices have indeed gone up here, but they have gone up everywhere.
As far as "doing away with shipping charges," are you serious? Do you actually live in a world where you think shipping is free? Seriously?
Yes indeed...no shipping charges @LL Bean, Nordstrom all the time and many times offered @ places like Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Loft, Boden, and being a preferred customer at places like Chicos & Bloomingdales
QVC needs to join other companies who really go the extra mile for their customers.

I have totally given up on shopping for clothing on QVC. I can get much better prices elsewhere with sales and coupons, etc. Also, I shop online and the store I buy from (Talbots) rewards you with free shipping and no charge if you return the items to the store which is 5 miles from my house. The free shipping comes when you spend a certain amount at their store. Not a problem for me and they have terrific sales and great quality. I am just tired of wasting money on postage to get an item that does not fit and I have to pay to return. Just doesnt make sense. I think their prices have gone up considerably the past few years. They have to cover their costs which includes the large salaries of the hosts - much more than a salesperson in a brick and mortar store!!

Yes, seriously. Anytime I am tempted to buy a brand name item on QVC, most of the time I can get it cheaper somewhere else. Even free shipping most of the time. I have my little collection of Dooneys, bought cheaper, free shipping. And if I get something cheaper, and their shipping is built in, all I care about is the bottom line.
