Not a fan of Amy either.........I don't have a problem with her clothing style and outfits she wears....it's more her persona -----she talks a mile a minute and on a fashion show, she mislead petites into thinking the length on a duster vest that didnt come in petites would be fine because after all she's petite and wearing it.....but she had heels on, and if a customer wore flats, then the duster would be way too long which she failed to point out......
And Kerstin is another one that shouldn't do fashion shows, I took a peek at some of the "Sunday Style" shows (I didnt want to go out in the 99 degree heat so I stayed home today), Kerstin didnt seem prepared at all, she stumbled and bumbled through the show, she talked over the vendor and wouldnt let her finished and talked so fast, and it seemed the faster I talk, the quicker the the show will be over..........I saw one of the new hosts on a show with Mary Beth (dont recall her name) and she did better than Kerstin did.............
@Spurt I can't take her and never could... When her star started rising it was one of several clear indications that QVC and I would be parting company... It doesn't much matter to me anymore how they schedule their hosts, because odds are, I won't be watching... Of course, as you know, the sameness of the mundane products offered is also a big reason, among others, for my almost complete lack of interest... I'm no big fan of Kerstin either, but were I still watching, I could tolerate her a bit better than than Ms. Stran...

This is just me but I think it amounts to is for the hosts not to "tease the viewers" with half or a portion of the facts...which just leads to speculation and gossip....
I just wish the hosts would realize that their personal business is not our business. It's ok to once in a while say something about it, but some harp on about it all the time and use their personal lives and families to sell almost everything they present. They can't have it both ways....wanting to talk about it all the time, but then get upset when there's a lot of specualtion when they aren't on air. Happy for Shawn, Joe and her family, but it's not my business, and she will be full of it when she comes back on air! Sorry, but I'd rather they focus on the products and give all the details needed for me to make an informed purchase. I shouldn't have to get online to find out basic stuff, because the host(s) are too busy talking about themselves, Facebook, Instagram and chatting to each other. It's a shopping channel not a tv talk show.

I feel exactly the way you do about the hosts. Since they are in business to actually sell things it would be nice if they provided information on the merchandise (and I just don't mean the colors either)..............There are so many unanswered questions left on the website in the Review Section of the item and these are all things that should have been covered by the hosts/vendor in the presentations!
It's sad when you have to ask people questions on the Forum to get answers about an item. Instead we get information that's a tad too personal about the hosts and that no one cares about. Perhaps it works on the customers that fall for the sales gimmick ---"the hosts are our friends", or "customers are part of the QVC family".....but for those that view QVC as a retailer we just want the hosts to tell us about "the stuff"!
I understand Carolyn's sharing of her battle with breast cancer---since she could be an inspiration to others and due to the fact that she would be out for quite a while. ........
And like you, what really irks me is when we told by the hosts to "go online to get info" or "call CS".......what do they think their prime job is anyway, ..... and there aren't many details in product descriptions either, mostly sales puffery very few details!

I like Amy, but ITA w/ @stevieb. On PMS, she had the HALSTON tee tucked into her skirt in front....as another petite, I would have liked to see long it actually was on her. The back of the tee was way too long for a petite frame.
