I am not a fan of her brand, however, I heard her say with Amy during Inspired Style or whatever it was that she did a reset on her brand for the last year or so. She took customer feedback and made adjustments. Now, as someone that does not follow Alena (sp?) or the brand, I am not sure what the adjustments or comments are, but I appreciate someone saying they wanted to take a step back and look at their product and make changes. Lawrence has said something similar with some blouses and pants.

Some other brands could stand to do the same.

@ajsidney12  Alina has said she started her brand with a lot of monotones and very oversized items.  That's her own style and that was her "look" for her QVC brand.

However, she took a lot of the comments to heart and realized she needed to pivot a bit and bring more colors and more refined sizing.

I like her brand a lot.  I have a few of the oversized pieces, as well as her more semi-fitted.

I bought a pair of her wide leg jeans with a big cuff in them about two years ago.  They were very, very long, but I loved everything else about them in their fantastic fit & design.  So I cut them off right at the exaggerated hem, and let them fray just a bit.  They are now one of my favorite pairs of jeans!

@Caaareful Shopper I respect that. It means she takes pride in her product and wants to deliver to the customer.

I have nothing against Aliana personally, she seems like a really nice person, her clothing line just isn't me.  At 5'1" I don't care for oversized tops, wide leg pants, affirmations, etc.

I think her things look cute on her and some of the models  just not my style.  I think  there is  a customer base for  her and I wish her well. QVC is right to bring in vendors like her with a different  style than  Denim and Co. or Susan Graver or even Belle, who I think cater to an  "older" crowd.  Belle seems to be in the middle.  Problem is  Belle and PLW don't offer many sweaters, tees, etc. for Petittes so I only purchase bottoms. Denim and Co. and Susan  Graver only offer  Petite tops for things that are tunic length. QVC claims to be size iclusive offering up to 5X but they do not often work for us short girls with short arms.

I know she listens to and respects Shawn’s opinion .

Alina mentioned that Shawn told her point blank that she needed to go back to her roots and give the customer quality clothing and items that she would have in her own closet.

Shawn really likes Alina’s style, so why not sell it ! ❤️

@Catch71  I feel your pain at 5'1" as mentioned in my earlier comment.  This morning when she was on with John B. she indicated that this was intentionally not a tunic and should hit most people at the correct level......however, I am sure that sleeves will be way to long.  Back it goes if so.

I recently bought the Attitude by Renee pant set in petite.  Have never bought her brand either.  The set went back.  Pants were perfect.  Top looked awful on me.  I just recently bought 2 of her fringe, scarf, color block duster in petite.  Fits great.  But sleeves are long.  At least with that I can cuff the sleeves and it's fine.

@Seminole2

 I ordered this same sweater but sized down one size from my experience   with other items in her line that I ended up sending back or exchanging.

This is why I finally decided to just buy Petites elsewhere where they are sewn correctly for Petites and consistently fit correctly. I pretty much shop exclusively at Talbots. They have unbelievable sales, a great selection, and are a few miles away where I can return free. I buy enough from them that I qualify for free shipping so it's a no brainer for me to shop there.

I like Alina very very much and find she really describes her clothing items in good detail.  The problem is when she is on with Shawn and/or Mally - only loud nonsense and they don't let Alina do her usual great job of presenting her clothing details.  Really hope QVC will correct this situation now that Alina has her weekly show which I was so looking forward to, but way too much Shawn prancing around and talking about things that don't pertain to the clothes!
