Over the past few months I have tried to order an item many times that the website showed that they had in stock. However as I got into the process I found out that they were sold out across the board of that size or color or the item altogether!
If the C in QVC stands for "competency", I'm afraid it's beginning to fail miserably. (BTW...I know it stands for Customer Service). ( correction : "convenience"). Their information needs to be reflected on their website!
This is not the QVC of 20 to 30 years ago...maybe even 5 years ago...and it's a shame.

@Gkhm FYI The "C" stand for convenience. You are informed an item is sold out when it shows as not available or when you try to buy it and its gone, just like most websites.
In case you haven't noticed, times and circumstances have changed.

Yes, it's been a problem for some time. Showing something is in stock until after we click the buy button.
I've yet to encounter that anywhere else; however, I have seen limited colors and sizes, but not entirely sold out still showing it is in stock.
Sounds like their system is not consistently programmed to show something is sold out when the last piece of inventory is sold or they want us to go into backorder, advanced order, or waitlist, rather than losing the sale. They can be cancelled, though.
