Order stuck in Limbo?

I placed an order on the 5th of Feb, it left the facility on the 8th and says enroute to UPS facility, then tracking stops dead. These are gifts that should arrive tomorrow. I called QVC and they said they can't do anthing unless I have not recieved the order by the 21st. What are the odds that it will show up tomorrow anyway, and tracking just didn't work? I'm on the spot here, because I've got to come up with a gift and not an IOU. Anybody had this problem? I tried to track the package on the UPS site but it came back invalid.
