Order "In Process" status 5+ days.....

I ordered a Toshiba laptop on 3/25 and the status has been only "in process". Is it common to wait this long for an order to be shipped? This is my very first purchase from QVC. I don't want to cancel my order, but I can't wait forever. I have talked w/ CS and they only tell me that it's coming from the vendor and should arrive on 4/1/13 (EDD).
