@MG Chris ..............I totally agree with you.  IMO posts are repeat after repeat and a lot of posts are witless.   Of course all my post are bordering on genius!  LOL  not!

I enjoy coming to these forums, I learn a lot and for the most part enjoy reading the posts.  But lately..............

I have taken to being very choosy as to which posts I continue to read and respond to.  Some I dont even dare respond to because I would say things that would get me banned forever.

I noticed that overuse of the word "obsessed" too!!

What do I care if Courtley is "obsessed" with a ridiculously expensive hair scrunchie that comes with two outrageously priced socks and some other thing created out of the fabric scraps at the plant where it was made?!?!?!?

At least it wasn't SHERPA.

I agree with you about shopping somewhere else, but QVC to ME has become an endless source of mirth and comedy...and a study in the imaginative way to overuse and abuse hyperbole....!

The host's costume, the fantasitical descriptions and claims, the "this would cost 100 dollars more" schtick, the hyperactivity, the giant optic white teeth, the repetitive items ( SHERPA SHERPA SHERPA MARCIA MARCIA MARCIA  pajamas, boot trim,  droppy buttonless cardis, and now, a monstrous cartoon-like Sherpa purse....STILL laughing at that one!!!)

And unlike the other 1200 stations I get on Direct TV, this comedy has NO politics, and for that I'm grateful...

Of course, the immersion in QVC is causing other problems...most notable, I'm beginning to feel bad for the hosts who seem to be in the "Keep moving, screeching, commenting, false laughing lest your head go on the chopping block...."

And the comments on this board ...a lot of them are very clever and fun to read....

I just  hope someone at QVC is reading them...I'd hate to have to go back to regular programming!!!

I have not watched QVC for more than a few minutes in at least 8 years.  Most days, I never even check to see what the TSV is.

The tuning out began when I realized, like you, that I no longer enjoyed the programming.  All the loud, fast talking made me more anxious than anything.  Most of the hosts I enjoyed were gone.  Yelling at the TV didn't make sense 

I'm a lot happier not missing what it used to be.  Those days are gone and will never return.

I get what you are saying, and those are just a few of the reasons I avoid turning to QVC.

It was fun while it lasted.

Say what you feel, and like changing the channel, people can just ignore your posts.
