What gets me is all the friendly chatter. Watching Jane Treacy the other night and if she said Jackie Jane once she said it 20 times. There's Co co, Aim, Lor,. Sell the product.,we're not interested in a girl's club, bad enough to watch Shawn and her glasses on and off. Have to turn channel.

In Q's early days I don't remember one item being featured for the whole hour over and over and over again.

I watched a few moments of Jane Treacy the other night just to re-confirm that I can not watch her. Nope, can't do it. I am sure she is a lovely person. But her personality just rubs me the wrong way.

That's because they had Mike Rowe in the "early" days.

Yes, it has been, and always was. That's why I listen to QVC when I can't sleep. The uninterrupted chatter - uninterrupted by commercials, of all things - has me dozing off in no time.

Think about a mattress that is on all day and might sell 10K vs a D&C tee that will sell 100K. When an item like a computer sells out they continue to air the item but indicate advanced orders. When a tee shirt sells out, they stop the airing and go to one time only.
There was a article in a financial journal explaining how QVC works with the vendors and it said that QVC sets the programming and the time and date for all the vendor products ...QVC does not sell a specific air time and its spelled out in all vendor contracts.....
