It appears qvc is on a campaign to convince us we are part of their family. Hosts are suddenly mentioning other hosts during their presentations, vendors mentioning other hosts, vendors collaborating with hosts, etc. This is in addition but tied in to their 50 plus positivity pitch. don't see it doing anything for me and it's not lowering prices or shipping costs. From postings on this forum there are those who agree with me and those that enjoy feeling like they are family. It has to be costing them money with touring cities hoping to draw in viewers. I hope it helps their bottom line but I am not holding my breath it will do anything for me.
I, personally, think they need to somehow get shipping costs to the customer decreased somehow. Paying shipping and handling on each item seems antiquated. I get things come from different warehouses and vendors. But when you buy 2 of the same item and they ship together it seems they could give you a break on that. How about loyalty rewards? I would go for that.
I, for one, do not agree with their generous policy of letting you wear and return clothing and shoes. That must cost them a lot of money. I don't know any other retailer that takes back worn shoes and clothes. Many stores insist no tags removed; qvc often doesnt have tags attached. All those worn shoes cost all customers. Maybe it's time they revamped that policy.
This is just my opinion and I know it's not everyone's.

Paragraphs or a larger font would be helpful with long posts.

I'll try to fix the font issue. I am known for lengthy texts; guess I just talk too much! Haha

The only way QVC will get me to watch is with more professional hosts who don't pretend to be my friend, spending less time on items and a larger variety of items AND lower prices, incentives (coupons??) and free s/h after a certain amount is spent.
Until that happens!! I shop elsewhere.

@Catch71 Amazon
I'm curious about the reference to Amazon and returns?
Recently, I began purchasing double-lined rayon tops in various colors and styles. Heck, I didn't know anything about them (except that indo like rayon) so I purchased many knowing I would try them on and make decisions about which to keep/retutn.
Now I notice there is a drop-down menu with questions one must answer that asks if tag is still on and if garment has been worn.
Maybe returns are catching up with them...still I don't mind being fussy about returns.

I think L.L. Bean had that issue where the return policy caught up with them and they had to stop it.
QVC's 30-day is ridiculous as we know people buy an item for an event and after using it return for a refund. Nobody appreciates getting shoes or clothing that were worn.

@LTT1 It's called "Prime Try Before You Buy" Go to the website to read all about it. There is even a YouTube review.
