I heard that any item selected for an order must be confirmed and ordered immediately, as it doesn't stay in the order box any more.  I understand and agreed that some people, including myself, have been guilty of  choosing items, then not ordering until later on, or at all.

But this morning I ordered an item I saw last night, immediately went back to choose a second item, and the original item had been removed.  Surely if we want to make multiple purchases, there should be a reasonable time to complete the order?  I know it can be found under saved items, but for me, this is a step too far QVC!

QVC must really be having a hard time with sales. On most websites I visit, I select items and keep them in my cart for, who knows how long?

Often times I come back and I'm told items were sold out or the items are still there. Keeping them in my cart is a reminder for me of what I'm interested in and may purchase. Saves time. Don't have to go back and search thru the website all over again.

@CABRIT if it's a popular item and a customer wants it, of course you lose it. Nothing new about that. I put an item in my cart yesterday and it's in my 'Saved Items". It's not a popular item.

Put two items in cart this morning, had to run put, checked a while ago, they're in my Saved Items so now all I have to do is put them back in my cart and check out.

Popular Items never last in your cart. It's always been that way.

Mine stayed in my cart over night and the next morning I clicked on it and they immediately put it as Being Prepared and would not let me cancel it. I mean it immediately went into Being Prepared. Usually you have a little time to cancel an order. I had none. They were doing whatever major changes they are doing I suppose. The item is sold out but they put two items of mine as being prepared. It has been two weeks. I am not waiting for a send back to them. I’m returning both. This is not right. They decided to wait till they got returns.

@CABRIT that's correct. Jane mentioned it again last night during the Jai show.

@ahoymate if you don't want to search for the items again, add them to your wishlist. You can then transfer them to your cart if they are still available when you are ready to purchase.
