Yes, she's a BUSINESS PERSON who has many projects going at any given time. 

She produces shows, and donates a LOT of money to various charities.  She does a lot of good out there.

She used to have a talk show.

  It doesn't bother me at all. not about to waste my time on rather Oprah  has her ffavorite things advertised or not. To each her own and if her items sell because she likes them then good for her !!.

I too am sick of Oprah. Never cared for her or her show. But she is so well known and has had so much success that she will always be invited to every big event and her opinion will always be regarded.
