I'm really getting sick of the overdone Vionic, Orthoheel, Clarke's shows of late, not to mention all of the other tiring programs.

While I can understand the Gold Rush and Creede Silver Strike sale days ..... some of their themes just don't make any sense.

For instance, a few weeks ago they had a "Shop Till You Drop Saturday".

Now .... please ..... just WHAT was that supposed to be? And why did they think this would interest me? {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

The few legitimate 'theme' shows are fine (Creede, Gold Rush, Irish Day, whatever) but this increasing tendency (always done, but not like it is now) to feature one type of product all day or come up with a cutesie name for an all-day plethora of tedium just makes for even more boring programming (if that's even possible) than usual, UNLESS you happen to be interested in the theme... Personally, I think it's easier and less costly to do it this way, given the sets transfer more easily from vendor to vendor and they have to cover vendor expenses (assuming they do) less frequently than if they appear for fewer shows but across several days. Regardless of the why's and what-fore's, more times than not, I don't care for it. And really, when you add to all this the fact that the merchandise variety and product selection have become pretty woeful, this just accentuates that and makes it even worse.

years ago the products were presented in an almost rapid-fire way....lots more products to see...I was glued to the screen so I wouldn't miss anything....and they showed so many unique things I had never seen before....now it is the same stuff ad nauseum....and nothing special or unique that I can recall....
