So I spend $158 on Judith Ripka's london blue topaz enhancer and it arrives in a tiny generic box with a piece of bubble wrap around it shoved in a tiny plastic baggie. What the he## is up with that? Is it too much to ask that a designer piece be boxed in the usual Ripka packaging or are those days over now, too? QVC used to take pride in their presentations of their jewelry and now I guess it costs too much or they are just too cheap to give us a designer box. They sure don't mind increasing their prices for everything, though. This really has me hacked off. I don't mind getting an "as is" or clearance priced something in a cheapo box but for the high end pieces they can do better!!
