Sorry, but I simply was not impressed with Tracy Anderson for GILI last night.  The workout wear was nothing exceptional, except for some very outlandish patterns.  Prices were a bit on the high side.  And Jill had to carry the show- Tracy looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

I felt the prices were in line with other competitors for workout wear.  I thought Tracy was fine.  Maybe she was a little nervous.

I haven't been impressed with anything related to Gili for years...

I agree.  Gili has become very overpriced and underwhelming.  I think Jill has a narrow target audience in mind for these items.

I used to love the Gili line, Quality was excellent and Lisa presented it well. Now It's gone the way of overpriced polyester

I was never impressed with GILI when Lisa was behind the line.  Extremely overpriced, and her input on the designs meant all the clothes fit just like she wore her own clothes — very, very fitted and very cropped.  When Jill came onboard, she had to continue to sell the “Lisa” inventory for more than a year because QVC still had to sell it.  How many $400 handbags can you sell under the brand that no one has ever heard of but QVC?

Now Jill is truly at the helm of the designs, but I have to say, I’m still not seeing anything I’d buy yet.

Just another “somewhat” celebrity name hopping on the band wagon.
