On April 01, 2025 around 3:30 pm a lady was showing sheets made by Northern Lights and said they were made from Egyptian cotton that was grown in Egypt near the nile river. Egyptian cotton is also grown in the SW USA so is she saying these sheets were made from cotton actually grown in Egypt? If not, this is false advertising and consumers should know this.

@jwb1724. Why the big deal? Many products sold in the USA are made of Egyptian Cotton. It's not unusual. The long staple cotton grown in the US is Pima Cotton developed in the Southwest.
Why would you n even question this?

Technically to be labeled "Egyptian" cotton it does have to be grown in Egypt. So the long stapled cotton grown in the US is not Egyptian. It's Pima cotton, grown in the western US just like @Kachina624 said.
Both Egyptian and Pima cottons can be sold anywhere in the world. QVC has offered Egyptian cotton sheets many times in the past.

@jwb1724On the product page (for H-478301) below the customer reviews you can ask a question. Why don't you try that?

@jwb1724 FYI it's Northern Nights, not Lights

@jwb1724 There are no Northern Lights sheets. Northern Nights. If you're going to gripe at least get the name right.

Everyone on the boards can have opinions. The responses on this post seems extremely critical of the poster. That is my opinion.

@Bonkers1 This place is toxic! Ask any question comment at your peril!

Why would there need to be a club for this? I didn't know a poster's first post has to be positive and glowing of QVC. Is that in the board guidelines? Is there a "New Member Whose First (and usually only)P Post Is Positive" club?
