I turned on QVC yesterday and saw Jayne preaching about her faith. The today I had to listen to Kirsten and and Candace who ever preaching aboutChristianity and Jesus. First of all, not everyone is a Christian. Second if I want preaching I can go on line and listen to a church, synagogue mosque etc. I do not  want this on a shopping channel. Turned QVC off immediately. Keep it up and I'll turn it off permanently.

Its truly a sad day that someone can not talk about their faith.  No one said you have to agree.  They chose their spiritual path and you have your path of choice.  Threats will not work either.

@Imaoldhippie , I just don't like it when it's used to sell merchandise, it's cheap and tacky.

@QVCkitty1 .......I did not see the show so I dont know if they were using religion to sell a product or not.  Or if they were speaking that their faith was helping them, etc.

@Imaoldhippie  @Susanp301  A shopping channel should not bring religion into any presentations. Stick to selling merchandise. I believe that Q forbids anything religious on Q's forums?? JMO

I agree with you @Susanp301. Faith is personal and should be kept that way. DIscuss it among like-minded family and friends if you wish, but not on a home shopping channel as part of marketing the goods.

There's no preaching going on. Candance didn't show up randomly to lead the flock, she's a vendor for a devotional & bible item so what do you expect her to talk about...her shoe size?

@kitcat51 ................thank you for that information.  I did not see the show so I could not really take a position, just give my thought.  Since it was a Bible this thread is reprehensible and moot.

I guess I don't agree one must delve into a discussion of their own faith in order to sell a faith based item. There really is no need to personalize the sales pitch for everything sold here. They probably do it because it's been assessed it helps move the goods.
