Has anyone else stopped receiving emails from Q? 

 

I've always received emails from Q but it stopped. I only noticed this because I placed 2 separate orders last week (let's say Wednesday & Thursday) and I didn't get my usual confirmation of my orders being placed (the "your order has been placed") nor the your order has shipped email. In the past I've never signed in to my Q account because I always received the email of the status of my order. So I signed into my account today to see that it's been shipped. So, I searched my email and saw that the last email I've received from Q was dated Aug 11. Coincidentally, that is the date that I was issued a new CC from my credit company (they had to issue me a new number because of security reasons). Anyway, I had that CC on file on my Q account (that would've expired in 11/2016).

 

Now, I've always wondered if companies did maybe a "soft" (my made-up term) credit inquiry (to see your cedit worthiness?) and found out that my credit card on file was "no good". (I guess I haven't ordered anything from Q since July/August when I had to cancel my CC and they had to issue me a new card because when I placed an order last week, I did the quick checkout thing and I got the message that it was declined and that's when I noticed I had that the questioned CC was on file.)

 

Or maybe I just need to go back to bed.

I also stopped receiving emails from QVC in Sept. I was out of the country and they just stopped. My credit card was compromised on my trip so we had to get new ones issued but I don't think it was a CC that I had on record with them. I'll have to check on that. I called last week and asked the sales rep about it and they said i had been removed for some reason. She put me back on but still no emails. I'll keep looking for an answer. Thx for bringing this up. Thought it was just me.

Check the email settings in your account.

I've had no CC changes, but also stopped getting QVC emails a couple of months ago.

 

I emailed the QVC social team on several occasions about it and now I will get a TSV email most of the time, but no others, including order or shipped emails or advance order emails. I also never get my Insider link email, but I work around that one.

 

BTW, I'm signed up for ALL of Q's emails, which the social team has confirmed.

 

I guess it's just another computer glitch, that will never get resolved......sigh.

 

But at least I can finally watch videos now! Yay!

Thanks, for the feedback! I also called and the rep said that everything looked fine and that I should start to receive the emails again. I never actually noticed that I stopped receiving their emails until I placed an order last week but I really didn't think much of it. (I always received many emails from Q weekly) It was just today that I thought it was strange that the order wasn't shipped yet since I placed the order on 11/9 & 11/10. (I usually receive my orders quickly.)

@Runner26Made my first non-AD purchase in several months last night.  Had a confirmation emails within seconds even though I had used the phone to order.

 

I'm also getting about two weeks notice via email about my upcoming AD orders just in case I want to edit or cancel my order.

 

However, I have no idea if I did anything to make those emails keep coming.

What's AD?

 

Hmmm... I just received 2 emails from Q: one to reset my password (?) and another that my online shopping account has been reactivated. 

 

Just very odd. 

 

I actually don't care that I didn't receive Q emails (although checking now I've received at least an email from Q daily, sometimes more). I just thought it was odd that I didn't receive confirmation emails of my orders or that it has been shipped (like I receive from all vendors). I actually wouldn't mind if all vendors curtailed their constant emails about their products.

@Runner26  I stopped getting emails from QVC in March.  I have contacted them several times, they say it is fixed but it never is.  I have purchased from them and even have an AD order (auto delivery) but emails just don't come.  I have checked my e-mail settings to make sure that I haven't blocked them so that isn't it.  I give up.

I had to have my cc. changed twice ( security ), and I never stopped receiving e- mails.
