Am so sorry to hear of his passing. Pancreatic cancer is rough--all cancers are rough. but that type is insidious. RIP.

Nick was a sweet man.... When he first came back after his absence I sent him a personal note and he sent me a personal thank you with blessings.....I thought that was beyond what any other QVC person had ever done.  I knew he was just a sweet soul.   I just caught the tail (no pun intended) end of the picture of his passing when I turned on AM STYLE this morning.  I missed everything else.  I hope they repeat it.  If anyone can bring it up that would be GREAT !!!  My heart aches......RIP NICK.....

I am so sad to hear this, Nick was such a big presence and so passionate about his products and profession. I so enjoyed watching him. He was the type of person, I believe, who wouldn't want others worrying about him or being sad. So I'm going to think of him styling the angels' hair in heaven above, happy and free from pain. Thank you, Nick, for being a light in the world!,XO

I am so sad. Of all the hair stylists on QVC I always loved him the best. He was over the top, yes, but yet...still, seemed so genuine. Fun to watch, lovable and his products were really good. In the past few years (not knowing he had been battling cancer) I was lamenting that he was no longer on. Smiley Sad

Cancer sucks. Too young.

May he rest in peace.🕯He certainly will be missed.

@PMal It is a rude awakening when we lose such a big talent and entertaining soul.  I am comforted in knowing he will get to be with the Lord for Christmas and his dear mother that he loved so.   Pancreatic cancer is a vile disease that has taken numerous friends and relatives of mine.  Prayers for his family to be comforted.

This was the first thing I saw on Facebook this morning.  I am shocked and saddened by this news.  I met him years ago at a QVC Beauty Bash event and he was so nice and personable.  I use many of his products to this day which has been many years.

RIP Nick Chavez.  You will always be a wonderful memory in my heart.  My heartfelt sympathy to his family.

So sad!  I LOVED Nick Chavez products and started using them from QVC since he first came on air.  My hair was always looking fabulous and I'd get lots of compliments - unfortunately I developed alopecia universalis in 2003 and couldn't use his products anymore even until this day.  I'd see him on air and wish I could still buy his products - they were the absolute best.  I will miss watching him on QVC - what a guy!
