Today, Friday, I received five clothing items I ordered during Monday's clearance shows, mostly Sports Savvy stuff.  Very fast and efficient shipping.  Even Newgistics cooperated for once.

I don’t care if my order takes 10 or 15 days, but today I saw a message I have never seen......I jinxed myself when I said my orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.

Coming from Ontario, CA, so I guess West coast to East coast now comes via rail.

I made an order at 2:44am est. yesterday, 12 hours later I got a shipping notification from UPS. Today it was trans to PO & it will be delivered tomorrow! That is amazingly fast!

But, I still have an order from the 6th that is still in process. It was not back ordered, not advance order, not waitlist. Of course Q has not sent me one single email about it. There have been reviews for weeks.

Also another item was shipped on the 20th and I'm about 225 miles from where it was shipped from & it still hasn't been delivered. It is in a city about 90 miles away & has been there for a week. Not entirely Q's fault on this one, but it is a makeup item that could melt & if they didn't use the cheapest mail delivery service known to man, I might have it.

Of course I can't say for sure if your package was on board but there was a train derailment northeast of KC MO on Monday that killed 4 people. The train came from CA and was on it's way to Chicago.

That interested me and found it was an Amtrak passenger train.

I have seen UPS trailers carried on freight trains, though.

@lynnie61    I don't believe they use rail .  its just the imaginative excuse du jour.  I had one in a train derailment once.  Didn't believe that one either.

@shoechic    The one shipped on the 20th sounds like a Newgistics failure.  It'll get there when they get in the mood.

I'd contact the mods about the other one.

Congrats on the timely receipt of your items!

I also received a package Friday - a Temp-tations holiday pattern teakettle which I ordered on the 26th during the CIJ event. 5 days is a new record; I've never received anything that quickly during the 5 months I've been here. 

OTOH, yesterday I also finally received a simple reversible camisole from Girl With Curves which I ordered on June 1st. One month to recieve. ONE MONTH. Not on back order...quantities available all month.

Seems hit or miss. Weird...last night during the 8:00 hour of shoe shopping w/JT I ordered a pair of sandals for my MIL and within minutes my order status said 'Preparing Your Order'...I've never seen that status so quickly before.

Then at 11:50 during Shawn's beauty show I ordered a TILI box for my 17y.o. granddaughter who loves samples and trying new things. Immediately after ordering status was 'Preparing Your Order'.

Have they received so many phone calls and complaints that they are picking up the pace?

I am re-carpeting the living room in our Ohio home  and want vinyl at the door entry and down a very small hall, and I have never had so many problems.

I have been to 4 carpet places and they dont keep carpeting in stock or vinyl either.  I can get the carpet in 2 to 3 days if it comes from the east coast.  However, if it comes out of California or overseas they have no idea if or when it would be delivered.

So anything coming from the west coast is a guess when you will get it.

Im sure it applies to other items as well.
