Are you aware Qvc changed its shipping charge to 5.00 for jewelry and cosmetics over 75.00 instead of 3.00.  iTs surprising that they raised shipping since so many shopping sites have free shipping.  mAkes you think twice about ordering from Qvc.

QVC will charge what the market will bear, it's just a matter for me any way do I want what ever they are selling that much. People can complain as much as they want, but if you keep buying the Q won't get the message.

I thought that was the policy originally, when the new terms were instituted earlier this year.  I could be wrong.  There were some other exceptions to the $3.00 "rule", which I seem to recall were dependent on the value of the purchased item.

I didn't realize it but it doesn't surprise me in the least.  I buy less and less because I don't watch as much as I did.  Too little variety in products & many of the hosts annoy me enough that I'd rather do something else.  Plus quite often I have found that I can buy it somewhere else and get it for less and with better quality.

I buy very little from QVC anymore. Too much for shipping if you have to return anything.

I'm just here because I like you guys 😄

Re: New shipping charge

Have any of you ever seen the handling and shipping charges for items in the catalogs? They charge s&h by the price of the items. QVC is still MUCH  more reasonable than the majority of the catalogs that I receive. When I return an item, I always take it to the post office and have them weigh it. I hardly ever pay close to the 6.95 QVC charge.

@tashiarYes, I posted  in Community Chat.  Here is my thread: there were a lot of responses you might want to read.

I, too, will order less from QVC. When you return an item, original shipping is no longer refunded, and that, added to the price of return shippimg, is just not worth it. I recently returned something and the was under $30 dollars and I was credited more than $10 less than I originally paid! This also happened recently with clothing items. I ordered 3 diff colors and they shipped in 2 diff packages. When returned, total shipping not refunded was almost $23!!

I too got burned with a big loss for returns.  A shame because I would love to order different vendor's pants but since pants are hard to fit on me, I know I would have returns and nothing to show for it.  It keeps me from trying new items, too risky.

I agree......I never use the pre printed return label.....Cheaper to weigh in at P.O.  Of course the label could work to your advantage based on the weight of the return
