So, I was looking for a recipe in the blogs, and I saw Sharon F. 's blog about Keurig, and she mentions new hosts Elise Ivy and Katie McGee in the group photo. Have these women made an appearance during any show?

@Nomore  That is a great question!  There is much more than meets the eye to becoming a successful show host.  Elise and Katie are currently in an extensive training program to learn all the ins and outs of the business.  We certainly look forward to welcoming them on the air in the future!

I agree, at least another male host might have been nice. I also just have to wonder why. Unless there are planned departures, there already seem to be too many hosts for too little air time. There are hosts who are rarely seen as it is and now they're adding more to the mix...

IMO the "extensive host training program" isn't extensive enough.

Think they could probably use a few more hosts primarily because of QVCPLUS channel. Maybe if they had more hosts they would not have to play previously recorded programming most of the time on QVCPLUS. I also think they need a couple more male hosts.

Agreed...it does appear that some of the hosts never received any training, much less extensive!

Re: New hosts question

New Hosts will be great (I too hoped they'd add a male or two though) -- QVC needs some new talented hosts.  As it is now, they have hosts banished to the wee hours of the morning who have proven their merit for primetime, but never get out of the dungeon because seniority rules.  I'd like to see Alberti's presentations other than when my TV alarm wakes me up for work at 4:30am (I do not watch Friday night Beauty with him and Sandra).  Life happens -- with both Lisa's gone, hosts out for health and family reasons, vacations, and limited work hours (I'm thinking of Dan Hughes still on scaled-back duty compared to years before)......this summer it seemed like they were on bare knuckles getting folks scheduled.  More than once hosts said how they hadn't known they'd be on that day. In addition, whatever they have planned for a full roll-out of QVC Plus will require more hosts.

I agree it is time to replace some of the long in the tooth hosts with some new blood. Some of the long time  hosts are just ready to retire. Too bad they do not just do it on their own.
