I used to return next to nothing and then around about 2009-2010, the fit issues with the clothing started, but not every line had an issue. I noticed it first with Dialogue and I started to have to return things. A couple times doing that and I stopped buying from Dialogue because it's not convenient for me to keep running to the post office, plus paying the return shipping fees. I actually received a Dialogue blouse where the sleeve was sewn to the side of it, LOL. That was defective.

Over time, the rest of the lines started to degrade with regards to sizing and I have cut back and cut back as that has happened. At this point, I am disgusted because I had to return a Dennis Basso 'cardigan' that didn't fit me in the arms. I even sized up. So, that is it for the DB line.

For me, it is not worth the try on fee, so I'll only be buying what I know for sure I want and can depend on having the quality I expect. I don't know what the ultimate result will be for QVC, but I know that I'll have a lot more clothing from other online retailers in my closet.

Qz must have huge overhead costs, with the trips to Europe, the fancy-pants cameras, sets and whatnot, creating and maintaining hosts’ “personalities,” legal staff, specializing in multi-colors on stuff that you’d rather have better quality on the inside, on and on. You’d think that shopping TV would mean less overhead, and thus lower prices to the customer, than a brick and mortar store, but I think NOT. You the customer have to pay for all this fat-cat indulgence. I like watching, and do buy some things, but like so many others, I watch and learn, then often shop elsewhere. For example, I just bought that Clever folding crate in the size I wanted at Costco. Not grouped with the other 2 sizes I would not have wanted, paying a higher price PLUS shipping. I was glad to have seen the presentation on Qz, and read the reviews (bad on the smaller size) so was more knowledgeable shopper when I saw it at Costco.

The customer has to pay for all of this, somehow. - Bird

I've been about a 20 year customer... I just got hit for $9.95 to return a paper thin dress. ...

Wow! I may be done with clothing in the Land of Qz. At least, done with tops. I finally figured out that no matter the designer, it is all made to Qz size measurements. That is, for people many inches shorter than me. Joan Rivers' clothing fit her to a T and she was 5'1". They put it on a 5'10" model, who is long-waisted (like me), it looks absolutely ridiculous, and they rave about how great it looks on anyone. NOT. Geez. To see a tall model wearing a Joan Rivers jacket that has elbow pads, but the pads aren't even on the elbow, but are on the back of the upper arm, (because it's styled for someone about 5'1" and it "looks fantastic?" (Sorry, DD, but I finally lost respect for you, professionally, on that one.)

$10.00 to return a thin dress, though, nuts! I wonder if scarves will be considered clothing or accessories...I have a weakness for them, particularly Bob Mackie. - Bird

This! I bought the jacket with the elbow pads and they were in the middle of my upper arms - nowhere near my elbows. Back it went and I realized that I could not buy anymore from that line.

I'm pretty much restricted to Seth Aaron, Dmitri's PR stuff, Linea, Bob Mackie, WWC and Quacker Factory if I want to have a chance of getting the right fit.

I remember thinking the same thing when l saw those jackets with the elbow patches way too high up the arm. I liked the jacket-- and was going to order it-- until l noticed that problem on the models, and thought it looked weird.

Is anyone experiencing much SLOWER shipping as well now? I used to get my items within 5-7 days now its taking 11 or more? I have one item that supposedly shipped 12 days ago and still haven't received it?

Yes, the elbow pads made it obvious, but if you really look at it (and I feel it when I put on the one jacket I ordered) the waist of the jacket is waaaayyy up under the girls if you are at all non-petite in the torso. The length is waaayyy too short. The sleeves, silly short, and there never is a hem for alterations. The 3/4 sleeves in the Land of Oz are so short for me that they bunch up uncomfortably inside the elbow. - Bird

I'm not only ordering less, I'm watching about 80% less. I ordered a denim and co jean jacket that I like but the bling buttons ruined it for me. It cost me $3 shipping to receive it and $6.95 to send it back. I'm out $10 and not happy. My mother feels the same and she bought a lot from the Q. Will be interesting. If enough people feel the same the policy may change again.
