Sorry, all I can say is what a crock. The ship is sinking and yet they're looking for more of the same... Master storyteller, huh... Whatever...

I so agree. The storytelling is the Number One reason I stopped viewing. When I go into Dillards (or any store), I'm not hit with stories. They inform me about the product...which is the reason I'm in there to start with. Duh!  Smiley Tongue

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes

Also QVC Group has extended David Rawlinson through December 31, 2027.

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

Just looking at those first three bullet points it's obvious they still haven't learned and continue to have their head in the sand. Then add the extension of Rawlinson's contract...

Makes me wonder if viewership is down primarily at Corporate. Doesn't anyone watch what's happened to this company? Do they also keep it on mute?

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

@Venezia    Come on, you know they meant "QUACKING" they are looking for more quacks, LOL.. J/k, and trying to lighten the mood. On another not, HOLY $HIP on starting salary $150,000. I hope Kerstin & Jennifer are making double to triple outside of Q with their new professions. To give up that kinda $$ and that is for starting salary. Both of them must of been making maybe double that or more after 13 yrs.

Oh also, the mention of Melissa Miner as a QVC host would be excellent. Props to that name drop! Lastly, hearing that LOSER thus far David Rawlingson was just extended thru 2027 makes me sick to my stomach. Unless he pulls a 180, he has QVC ship heading right for the icebergs! He has been abysmal and abominable as a CEO, thus far and that is putting it lightly!

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

Long time hosts like MaryBeth make a very high salary so with her leaving they can pay probably 3 new hosts. Add on to that what they saved on Kerstin and Jen Coffey both who had been there a good length of time also. Should save qvc money with newbies.

Jennifer Coffey posted this same host recruitment "casting call" yesterday.  She's offering her services to coach prospective applicants:

She posts her email on her Instagram personal account (not the jennifer coffey style account).

Anything for a buck I guess.  Wonder what her fee is for this service.

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

@Catch71   Good points! Jennifer Coffey must be working in some fashion with corporate or behind the scenes, as many of us have speculated. For her to post this QVC AD and then offer to give pointers or training to prospects for prob $300 per hr, just kinda confirms about Jennifer working behind the scened with QVC. We speculated this when she said on final show, "This isn't last time you've seen me in this building"

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

Well now we know what the starting salary is today for a new host.  If you are good and sell a lot then I'm sure it will quickly go up.

I bet some with hosting experience in front of the camera can get much more even if they haven't worked as a QVC host before.

I have to laugh at some of those salary guesses in the past here!

Re: New Host Position Recruitment

I certainly can see where some would not want to leave Florida and go up North to colder weather.  But there is also so much great things to do and see in that part of the country.
