I was banned access from the forum due to "excessive flagging".

I hearted about 6-7 posts one day. Is there a limit on how many ❤️ you can give out?

What the heck is excessive flagging  ?  Surely it doesn't mean how many hearts you give ?

Have you reported a lot of posts @U of M Go Blue ?

I agree with @San Antonio Gal — this sounds like you might have reported too many posts to the moderators. If you are able to post now, is your ban finished? If not, did you perhaps just receive an erroneous message about being banned?

I'm assuming it means you used the

"report inappropriate content" one too many times.

I have reported maybe two in all the years i have been here, and nothing in the last year.

Also when i try to post I will write a sentence or two and the "post" button is nowhere to be found . I have to scroll down about 10" and there is the button but it is scrolling and i cant press the post button because it is moving.  This is a pain.

I looked up the word flagging and it means excessive returns. I don't know if that applies to your situation.

Let's say we're in a thread and it suddenly turns political. If you reported each, mods don't like that even though technically if 10 posts are political it would seem correct to report all 10 -- wrong. If you give the mods work, they won't like  you, period!  Report only one  or you will be deemed the bad guy.

Did you receive an email about this or did it just pop up when you tried to access the website? If it just popped up take a look at how you are accessing the website. I have an iPad with a cellular plan. It alternates IP addresses each time I access the internet. One of these addresses has been banned, and doesn't allow me to get on the site because of what another person using the same Ip address did.

@willowbark I don’t blame the mods for finding that annoying! Excessive reporting for sure.
