Over the long haul, I've never been aware of QVC standing behind anything they sell. I've known others who bought Cook's Essentials who have had the same problem. Cook's Essentials is stamped on the bottom of the pans, and they still won't honor their guarantee. That's why I don't buy high dollar items from them. Especially since they print their receipts so they fade with age, even if you save them, nobody could read them! That gives QVC another way to avoid having to honor their guarantee.

@GSPgirlThanks. I have some DMQ from those days, too. I've been lucky with them so far, but your info will stick with me.

@GCR18 wrote:Do warranties at other companies not require a receipt? I assumed that was standard. How else would a company know you bought it from them. There are seconds sold on places like EBay, etc. I wouldn't think they come with the warranty. Sorry you are having this issue.
Yes, heidi daus required no receipt or shipping fee, btw very fast turn around, ecclissi sent me a new bezel without receipt because iost a stone, also eterna gold did a repair without receipt. These companies should know their own products

You have a fake diamond ring for 20 years, and you want a warranty for it?

A suggestion for fading/torn receipts - I take a picture of important receipts/documents and save it on my laptop / phone.

I would NOT accept what the C/S rep told you on the phone.
I would email AND write to Corporate and insist they help you.
While they do not archive our order history that far back, they DO know exactly how long you have been a QVC customer. (in fact, I was checking my order history today. It shows only about 10 orders in 2015. My husband WISHES I only placed ten orders in a year! lol)
IMHO, you should NOT have to pay for replacement of stones that fell out. The prongs should be sturdy enough to last the lifetime. I have a diamonique set that is missing two stones. I called and was told they would be replaced at no charge. I do have my receipt but haven't return it yet.
Don't accept that answer....a 14K setting even w/ CZ is not a cheap piece of jewelry.

I have many old pieces of Diamonique in 14 kt gold. I don't remember them stating back then that there was any kind of warranty. Mine all look pretty good except for "Kathy Levine's Ring" which has a 2 ct. heart stone. It does not clean up sparkling clean. The newer 2 ct. heart stones are much more sparkly. When I heard about the warranty a seveal years ago, I thought it was something new.

Thanks for all the responses. Actually the CS rep went back as far as the system allowed and brought up many purchases including a 14kt marquis tennis bracelet that I purchased around the same time to match this ring. She just could not find this ring. They would accept---w/o the receipt--if it could be found in the system. I even offered to pay since I'm sure they would have to have a huge inventory of CZ stones. No luck. At the time I don't believe QVC offered any protection plan, which in any case would be long voided. I'll try a local jeweler and last option will be to sell it for the gold. Just find it very odd they have very, very old purchases around the same time but no record of this ring. Oh well.
